CASA
Court Appointed Special Advocate
Child Enrichment's CASA Program is nationally and state-accredited. Our program trains community volunteers who are appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interests of abused or neglected children involved in juvenile court deprivation proceedings.
Last year, 390 children were served. Volunteers work closely with counselors, doctors, schools, and other agencies to assess the child’s safety, health, emotional, and educational needs, and evaluate potential caregivers. Volunteers provide a comprehensive report to the Judge, ensuring the best placement for each child. All services are free of charge, and CASA serves as a stabilizing force for these children.
