Will you be the voice for a child?
Child Enrichment CASA is looking for passionate people who would like to give their voice to speak up for abused and neglected children in foster care.
CASA — Court Appointed Special Advocates — brings individual attention, urgency, and advocacy to abused and neglected children in the foster care system, both in and out of the courtroom. Ideally, a CASA’s ultimate goal is to make recommendations to the judge on what / where the safest permanent placement is for that child. Child Enrichment's CASA Program has been serving abused and neglected children in the Augusta Judicial Circuit for over 20 years. In July 2019, the program expanded to include the Toombs Judicial Circuit.
Child Enrichment’s CASA Program is an affiliate of Georgia CASA, a nonprofit organization with 46 community-based affiliate programs in the state. Last year, over 2,500 CASA volunteers in Georgia served 8,649 abused and neglected children. Locally, our CASA Staff and Volunteers served 368 children. GA CASA’s mission is carried out locally through our CASA program, an essential component of Child Enrichment’s mission to provide and coordinate comprehensive intervention, stabilization, advocacy, and prevention in the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children. Since 1978, Child Enrichment has served over 28,000 local children.
